fitted with life vests, leashes, and paddles. As we enter the
water, we start out very slow until you can paddle with comfort
and confidence. When ready, we begin our tour on the majestic
Russian River, gliding along with only the sound of our paddles
gently breaking the water's surface. Soon the water begins its
magical embrace, taking you on a peaceful journey through a part of Sonoma County you never dreamed existed. You soon discover the vantage point from atop a paddle board allows you to look down into the river, easily spotting fish and other aquatic creatures. Free to get close to either shore line, you scan the rich riparian habitat for birds and other wildlife.
For the beginner and intermediate paddler (minimum 2 people)
After arriving at Riverfront Park on East Side Road in Windsor, you are greeted and checked in by your guide. Paddlers then take a short hike out to a levee that divides the beautiful and serene lake Benoist from the Russian River. (optional coutesy shuttle)
